London Coliseum is following the Society of London Theatre Ticketing Principles through flexible and safe operational measures that combine the passion and desire for live experiences with the best possible customer experience.

Buying Tickets

For Hairspray performances 22 June – 18 July we are currently selling tickets within a ‘socially distanced’ auditorium and so due to the ‘Rule of 6’ you will only be able to buy a maximum of 6 tickets in one transaction. If you need to purchase more than 6 tickets, this means that everyone in the party should still only be comprised of two households. To do this the other household will need to make a separate booking.

For performances from 20 July we are selling tickets within a non-socially distanced auditorium.

At this time you will be expected to wear a face covering throughout your visit and you will need to ‘check-in’ to the theatre using the NHS Track & Test App.

At this time every ticket must be purchased in advance and all tickets will be issued as e-tickets for safe display on your mobile device.

You can purchase tickets online and you will need an email address to receive your e-tickets.


Seating within the auditorium

There are four seating levels to choose from at the London Coliseum. Starting at ground level they are Stalls, Dress Circle, Upper Circle and Balcony.

Please note there is limited lift access to the Balcony and the staircase has 86 steps.

You will be able to purchase your tickets in pairs online or singles, through the website or via Live Chat with our fabulous Box Office team, but in order to ensure the maximum number of people are able enjoy the performances in a secure environment we are unable to seat multiple pairs of tickets without social distancing.

For example:

If you are a booking or household of six you will need to purchase three pairs, but you will be socially distanced in those pairs. This is for the protection of others as well as yourself.

Box office hours

Monday – Friday via Live Chat at 10.00 to 18.00.

On performances days our hours are 10.00 to 20.00.


Booking fees

Where ENO charges a non-refundable booking fee per ticket, ranging from £1.80 to £2.25 this will be shown when you select your seats. This fee does not apply to ENO Friends in priority booking periods.


Under 16s

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under five will not be admitted.


Disabled visitors

We recommend that disabled visitors join our Access Scheme so you can purchase tickets at half-price or less, subject to availability.

How do I get my ticket(s)

Every ticket will be provided as an e-ticket that can be held on your phone or added to your wallet / passbook app. You can also print your ticket at home and bring that with you if you prefer. This is so our Front of House staff can scan your tickets on the way into the auditorium via our COVID-secure system.


What happens if I feel ill and can’t use my ticket?

We will be ensuring that you have maximum flexibility by allowing tickets to be exchanged for another performance (if available) and we can exchange tickets up to 24 hours prior to the performance – so if someone in your party feels ill, there’s no need to worry.

Please do not attend the venue if you

  • believe you may be infected with COVID-19
  • have experienced symptoms in the last 14 days such as
      • new continuous cough
      • elevated temperature
      • loss or change of taste and smell
  • have been in close proximity to anyone who has experienced symptoms in the last 14 days
  • have arrived in England in the last 14 days and are not covered by the exemption rules relating to self-isolation; or
  • have been instructed to self-isolate by  NHS Test and Trace Service or other healthcare professional

All of our customers are expected, at this time, to wear a face covering throughout your visit.

Can I get a refund if I don’t want to come?

Refunds are not available, unless a performance is cancelled, but if you are unable to attend due to illness or self-isolation we can offer you an exchange if performances are available.
